Your Body is the Temple of God | Dennis Beers
Monday Dec 01, 2025
Monday Dec 01, 2025
We often see our bodies as temporary shells or liabilities we must tolerate until we reach heaven, but what if your physical frame was actually sacred space, chosen by God to be the meeting point where heaven and earth meet?
In this message Pastor Dennis explores the profound spiritual reality that the believer's body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore consecrated ground. Your physical body, as a redeemed child of God, is now chosen by God as His dwelling place on earth, carrying His presence, purpose, and protection. Because the enemy knows this is true, he makes your physical body a primary target which he attempts to defile with sickness and weakness. Pastor Dennis teaches that as believers we must refuse the enemy's strategy and instead enforce our covenant authority in Christ, speaking truth over our bodies, and actively resisting the enemy's physical attacks as unlawful invaders on what Christ has claimed as His redeemed territory. This message will encourage and challenge you to receive God's word that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, to be cleansed and freed from whatever is attacking and trying to defile your body, and to maintain your physical health and strength so that the resurrection life of Christ may be openly manifested through you!

You Are Jesus's Power of Attorney | Dennis Beers

Monday Nov 17, 2025
Did you know you have been designated as Jesus's Power of Attorney here on Earth?
In this message, Pastor Dennis teaches us how as believers we are designated as Jesus’s Power of Attorney (POA) on earth. He explains that just as a POA acts in the interest and with the authority of another, Jesus has invited us to act "in His name." But Dennis cautions that a POA must act within certain prescribed limitations, and shows us that our authority as Jesus's POA must be exercised according to His values and will, not for our personal agendas. This message concludes with Dennis handing out & reading a special rewritten "Durable Power of Attorney" template from Jesus's perspective that summarizes the scope of authority granted to His followers as His POA's, including healing, casting out demons, and proclaiming the gospel. A very inspiring message!

Trouble in the World - Peace in Jesus | Dennis Beers
Tuesday Nov 11, 2025
Tuesday Nov 11, 2025
Have you ever wondered, "Why is there so much trouble in our lives?"
Jesus did not sugarcoat the truth, but He told His followers that they "will have trouble" in this world (John 16:33). But He also told them that in Him they can have peace and "take heart" - because He has overcome the world! In this message, Pastor Dennis gives the key to finding peace amid difficulties - learning how to be "in Jesus in the world." He identifies five sources of trouble that we all face, and then shows how "in Jesus" we can stay in peace and persevere through these troubles to victory.

Knowledge vs. Revelation | Dennis Beers

Monday Nov 03, 2025
What if all the sensory knowledge and factual observation in your life tell you a problem is impossible to solve, but a deeper revelation could instantly show you the truth that sets you free?
Pastor Dennis begins this message in an intriguing way, by using a physical puzzle to demonstrate how sensory knowledge can limit understanding, while revelation provides the insight necessary to solve the problem easily. He goes on to explain that faith is a revelation of the truth that changes how you live your life. And this is illustrated in the Scriptural accounts of the healing of the demon-possessed boy (Mark 9:14-29) and Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). Finally, in this message, Pastor Dennis shows us three sources of revelation—the Spirit of God, the Word of God, and God-given life experiences—and encourages us to seek deeper revelation to live the abundant life promised by Christ.

Failing As God-Imagers - Pt. 2 | Dennis Beers

When Adam and Eve sinned and failed in their role as "God-imagers," they faced severe consequences—but why was the ground cursed and the serpent cursed, while God specifically avoided cursing humanity, and how did this reveal a deeper spiritual plan for redemption?
Continuing our study of Genesis 3, this sermon by Pastor Dennis Beers investigates the immediate judgments delivered after Adam and Eve’s disobedience, contrasting the curse placed on the serpent and the ground with God's intentional choice not to curse humanity because they had already been blessed. We examine how the consequences for the woman (pain in childbearing) and Adam (painful toil) still carried an underlying promise and how God’s act of making garments of skin introduced the concept of substitutionary atonement—the transfer of sin’s debt—foreshadowing the law and ultimately Jesus Christ. Finally, we see that God's decision to banish them from the Garden of Eden and guard the Tree of Life was an act of protection, ensuring they would not live eternally in their fallen state, reinforcing that God has not given up on his plan for humanity to be his God-imagers on earth.

Failing As God-Imagers - Pt. 1 | Dennis Beers

Why did God warn Adam and Eve about the passive temptation of the forbidden tree, yet not warn them about the active deception of a serpent that was coming to trick them?
Genesis chapter 3 is the critical turning point where Adam and Eve—created to be "God imagers"—fail in their role. The serpent deceives them, telling them God is holding back the opportunity for them to be "like God, knowing good and evil." In this message, Pastor Dennis tackles the significant theological question of whether God set them up for failure by warning only about the negative consequences (the passive temptation) and not the active deception itself (the serpent and his lies). He explains although there may have been various ways God "could have done it differently," the truth remains that God gave Adam & Eve enough information, clear boundaries, and alternatives to do the right thing, proving that His character was (and always is) consistently good and loving.

Growing as a God-Imager | Dennis Beers
Monday Oct 06, 2025
Monday Oct 06, 2025
Since God created and commissioned us to be His imagers on Earth, what has He put in place to help us fulfill our role?
In this message, Pastor Dennis continues laying a foundation from Genesis, delving into chapter 2 where we see God developing and training Adam as His imager on Earth. On the seventh day, God modeled the rhythm of rest to establish the first spiritual law. As a second spiritual law, He set boundaries for mankind that reveal the consequences of disobedience. Finally, God introduces a third spiritual law as He creates Eve from Adam's side and declares "the two shall become one."

Being Imagers of God | Dennis Beers
Monday Sep 29, 2025
Monday Sep 29, 2025
What if your very purpose on earth is to be an "imager of God"—to create, to bless, and to bring order just as He did in the beginning?
Pastor Dennis delves into Genesis chapter 1 to establish a biblical worldview, exploring how God's actions in creation define His character and our purpose. We are created as "imagers of God," designed to rule, create, bless, and bring order to the world, just as He did. Dennis challenges us to align our personal worldview with God's, reflecting His image through our actions and words.
